Welcome to Misfuelled Car Fixer West Midlands.
These Terms and Conditions govern the contract between you (the Customer) and us (the Service Provider) for the provision of emergency mobile wrong-fuel extraction and system decontamination services.
By requesting our assistance via telephone, online booking form, text message, or WhatsApp, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.
Definition of Services
We provide a 24/7 mobile fuel drainage service, which includes siphoning contaminated fuel from your vehicle’s tank, flushing the primary fuel lines, clearing out immediate blockages where applicable, adding fresh fuel (at market cost), and conducting a standard electronic system diagnostic reset.
No Service on High-Speed Highways
To protect the safety of our technicians and comply with strict UK highways legislation, we do not perform fuel drain services directly on the hard shoulder of a motorway or live dual carriageways.
If your vehicle misfuels or breaks down on a high-speed road, it is your responsibility to arrange for a licensed recovery agent to tow your vehicle to a safe, stationary off-road location (such as a motorway service station parking lot, local retail park, or quiet side road) before our technician can commence work.
If our technician arrives and deems the location unsafe or illegal to work in, we reserve the right to suspend the service until the vehicle is safely relocated.
Pricing, Quotes, and Payment
Mandatory Booking Deposit: To secure your booking and dispatch a technician, we require a deposit for all call-outs. This deposit is taken at the time of booking via a secure payment link or over the phone.
Deduction From Final Price: The deposit is not an extra fee; the full amount of your deposit will be taken off your final bill at the end of the service once the fuel drain is complete.
Fixed Quotes: All quotes provided over the phone, via text, or online are fixed all-inclusive prices based on the technical information you provide (car make/model, fuel type, and whether the ignition was turned on).
Inaccurate Information: We reserve the right to adjust the final price on-site if the technical information provided during the quote was inaccurate (e.g., if you stated the engine was never turned on, but our technician discovers the fuel lines are fully pressurized and contaminated with AdBlue or incorrect fuel, requiring an extensive reverse-flush).
Payment Terms: The remaining balance (total price minus your booking deposit) is due immediately upon the successful completion of the fuel drain service. We accept major credit/debit cards, contactless mobile payments (Apple Pay/Google Pay), and cash on the roadside. Your vehicle will not be handed back until the invoice is settled in full.
Cancellations and Call-Out Charges
Once you verbally accept our quote or confirm a booking via text/online form, we immediately dispatch a dedicated technician to your coordinates.
Cancellation Policy: If you choose to cancel the service after a technician has already been dispatched to your location, a standard Cancellation/Call-Out Fee will apply to cover fuel, time, and logistical costs.
No-Show Policy: If our technician arrives at your specified location and you are not present, or if you refuse the service upon arrival, the full call-out fee will remain legally due.
Vehicle Warranty, Faults, and Liability
Pre-Existing Damage: Running incorrect fuel, water, or AdBlue through an engine can cause immediate structural damage to fuel pumps, sensors, and injectors. We are not responsible for any mechanical or electrical faults that occurred prior to our arrival due to the misfuelling event itself.
Limitation of Liability: Our technicians use industry-standard, professional techniques to safely flush your fuel system. While we boast an incredibly high success rate in saving driven vehicles, we cannot guarantee that the vehicle's internal components haven’t already sustained hidden, irreversible friction damage from being run on the wrong fuel. We accept no liability for secondary engine failures that manifest after a successful fuel drain has been completed.
Warranties: We provide a warranty specifically on the workmanship of the fuel drain and line flush itself. If the vehicle fails to run due to a direct error in our drainage process, we will return to inspect and rectify the issue free of charge.
Environmental Waste Disposal
As fully licensed UK waste carriers, all hazardous fuel mixtures extracted from your vehicle become the legal property of Misfuelled Car Fixer Ltd. We transport and dispose of all contaminated materials safely and legally at a certified fuel-recycling facility in total compliance with UK environmental regulations. Under no circumstances can contaminated fuel be left with the customer.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
